Foodies Festival, Alexandra Palace
Make your Instagram weekend trip to the farmers’ market just got the ultimate upgrade.
London’s own Foodies Festival returns to Alexandra Palace – and it’s the stuff
of culinary dreams.
Think Willy Wonka-level volumes of cuisine from all over the world – there may not be a chocolate river, but with dozens of street food stalls, restaurant tents, and live cooking; you’ll feel like you’re in the factory’s candy garden.
Guests are invited to eat their way through original recipes by Michelin-starred chefs, including Atul Kochhar and Great British Menu Winner Adam Simmonds, all prepared live in the Chefs' Theatre. And food isn’t all that’s on the menu: Foodies features any number of interactive workshops, kids activities, and tasting events to boot.
Prime your palette with a visit to the Vintage Tea Tent, where you’ll be told all about top notes, tannins, and special blends. To really get stuck into the experience, drop off your little ones at the Kids’ Cookery School, where they can muck around with exotic ingredients. Wash it all down with a trip to the drinks theatre, where you can unwind with anything from a hearty ale to a flute of pink bubbles to a custom cocktail.
We know we’ve got your stomach rumbling. Stop scrolling through those foodie blogs – Foodies Festival has the real thing.
